Happy because it’s a darned fine issue. We have interesting articles by some of our regulars; a well-written short story; an interesting take on professional sports; poetry, artwork, cartoons, and music; and a how-to article by (ahem) yours truly.

Sad because this issue marks the final appearance of a humorous story by SDMB member LiveOnAPlane. As I note in a postscript to that story, he passed away unexpectedly after submitting his rewrites, but before I could tell him (again) that I thought it was a fun piece that the teeming readers of teemings would enjoy.

We dedicate this issue to his memory.
