Teemings

Spiders

by Silky Threat

Web shards stick
      they sting.
A translucent tar welded to my breasts
           my throat.

It crawls
      heavy with shiny smile,
      thick with swollen tongue.

Skitters
silent as the room it robs.
I meld into its silken shroud.

Nests, it spins.
Rests, it takes.
