Spring on the Wet Coast

by zoogirl

It's raining again
Oh whoopie, oh hooray!
It's just what I needed
One more cloudy day.
There might be brief sunshine
Some day, when I'm old,
If I don't die first
Of a terminal mold.
At least with no sunlight
I'm fashionably pale
And it surely does beat
Severe lightning, or hail
But I'm awfully tired
Of this ETERNAL gloom.
Though I do save on groceries...
I'm sprouting mushrooms!
