I wonder how it would be.
If people were priced by men in blue smocks
Price guns in hand, and bar codes secured.
Each night at closing,
every person would be tagged.
What sort of prices would I get?
Would they base it on love?
Would they base it on hair?
Would they value my laugh?
These men in blue smocks.
Holding stickers and lives.
They could value a person
based on what they do have.
They could value a person
based on what they have lost.
They could value a person
based on where they have been.
I guess they could use
supply and demand.
Putting each person
on a Cartesian plane.
Moving these dots to the right and the left.
Up above positive, down below negative.
Each day would bring changes,
Its what the market can bear.
