Koushun Takami

by Cyan Garamonde

Boromir (Gondor Heir No. 1) gripped his weapon (longsword) and peered through the bushes at the clearing. He had seen Frodo take off in this direction.

Damn that hobbit. I won't let the others get The Ring. I have to save Gondor!

Suddenly, he heard the rustling of bushes to his right. He heard the flapping of bird's wings to his right, followed by several thunks and jabs of pain in his side. He fell onto his back, the orcish arrows having pierced his right side and causing slick red blood to pool on the ground. Several orcs came into the clearing, already nocking arrows back into their bows. They stood over him and released their arrows with the same sound of flapping wings, the arrows lodging themselves into Boromir's chest.

Aragorn (Isuldur's Heir) heard the sound of wings flapping and rushed to the sound. When he got there, he saw Boromir lying in a dark red pool of blood. He rushed to his compatriot.

"Aragorn....be careful of the orcs. They're playing for real..." With that, Boromir's eyes became glassy and he faded from the world.
