This is Frodo. Frodo was a Hobbit. He lived in Bag End near his friend, the Wizard with the Long White Beard. He was a good little Hobbit, and always very curious.
One day, the Wizard with the Long White Beard said “Frodo, there is a gift for you. A very special gift.” The Wizard showed Frodo a golden ring. Frodo was very curious!
The Wizard said, “You must remember to never put it on your finger. Can you promise me, Frodo?”
Frodo promised.
Then the Wizard said, “Would you like to go for a walk, Frodo?”
